Cedar Tree: cedar trees are known for their thick ridged bark, broad level branches and longevity; they represent the company’s robust mission to film with passion and purpose.
Hands: two hands, softly drawn in pencil reflect the human touch. Strokes resemble twigs coming together to craft a nest. These represent the company’s tailored, personal service.
Circular: symbolic of wholeness and inclusiveness; the company’s vision to cater for projects and budgets both great and small.
Our Journey
At Cedar Nest Productions, we value integrity, creativity, and lifelong learning. We are deeply compelled by the power that moving images have – especially when meticulously crafted with audio, music, and colour – to create a story, evoke memories, draw out emotions and bring forth a message. Our clients lie at the heart of what we do, and close collaboration is our core priority.
Our work started back in 2017 in the field of wedding and events videography before we extended our reach into the medical and health care sector in 2019. Some of our clients in healthcare have included Munch Dietetics, the Queensland Medical Women’s Society (QMWS), Women in Medicine, Doctors Health in Queensland (DHQ), the Doctor’s Health and Advisory Service WA (DHASWA), Rural Health West and the Medical School of the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA). Some of our work has been distributed nationally and internationally, including a screening at the 2021 British Medical Association (BMA) International Conference on Physician Health.
I’m Hanh, a radiation therapist, medical student, and founder of Cedar Nest Productions. I enjoy getting to know you and finding out how we can best collaborate to achieve your goals. I always endeavour to try my best in all circumstances – indeed, that very unattractive photo on the right was taken right after I had dived down, headfirst, into the murky deep waters of Red Cliff to retrieve my drone. Drone was dead, few cuts and bruises here and there, but at least all footage that day was saved!
